The Biden Administration’s open borders policy is a grave threat to national security. This is not just some nebulous big government “thing.” It is a threat to your life and the lives of your loved ones as confirmed by testimony of FBI director Christopher Wray, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and National Counterterrorism Director Christine Abizaid before the House Committee on Homeland Security November 15. The committee’s conclusion: “In the hearing, members received confirmation of the urgent national security threat posed by the nearly 1.8 million known gotaways and the rising number of individuals on the terrorist watchlist apprehended crossing the Southwest border…”
The Committee’s account documented, “Wray confirmed these facts in his testimony and alluded to Chairman Green that the national security consequences of the crisis have turned every state into a border state. Director Wray even confirmed all 56 FBI joint terrorism task forces are occupied with threats coming across the border. Worse, Mayorkas could not confirm that every suspected terrorist that crosses the Southwest border illegally is detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), while Wray admitted that the FBI is still attempting to locate certain individuals on the terrorist watchlist who have crossed into the United States. Throughout his testimony, Mayorkas consistently refused to answer direct questions about how his policies have opened America’s borders, and the national security consequences of those policies.”
After listening to the testimonies of these government bureaucrats in charge of US national security, House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) concluded, “This migration crisis is a self-inflicted crisis—one we created by the change in our policy, and it has put Americans at increased risk, as you’ve acknowledged. … These catch-and-release policies that Mr. Mayorkas have implemented are the cause of the problem. You have to ask yourself, with the way that these catch-and-release policies are working now…If you get to come into the country, why wouldn’t you just turn yourself into Border Patrol?…Well, it’s because they don’t want to be caught. Criminal non-citizen arrests are as follows: In FY 2023 are 15,267 compared with 2,438 in FY 2020, the last year of the Trump Administration. Assault, Battery Domestic violence arrests in FY 2020 were 208 compared with 1,254 in FY 2023. Homicide, Manslaughter in 2020 was 3 compared with 62 in FY 2022. Similar ratios hold true for drug trafficking, DUIs, sexual offenses, and illegal weapons possession and trafficking. This government is not able to protect you from these illegal criminals. You must protect yourself. How? It starts with understanding Psalm 18:2,3, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.” The rest is up to you.
