For years, we were labeled conspiracy theorists and deniers for reporting that the Russia hoax, the fabricated FISA warrants, and the weaponization of the FBI against a duly elected president were all part of a coordinated effort to overthrow Donald Trump before he even set foot in the Oval Office. Back in October 2016, The Daily Jot documented how Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and top intelligence officials conspired to use fake opposition research as intelligence, fraudulent dossiers, and a complicit media to justify spying on the Trump campaign and undermining his presidency. It was an orchestrated coup cloaked in the language of “national security,” and James Comey was right in the middle of it.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton in secret just days before Comey declared that “no reasonable prosecutor” would pursue charges against Hillary for mishandling classified information. Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s wife received hundreds of thousands in campaign funds from a Clinton ally while he oversaw the Clinton email probe. The same Clinton campaign paid Perkins Coie, which hired Fusion GPS to fabricate the Steele dossier—fiction that the FBI presented as evidence to the FISA court to spy on Trump’s team. The DNC even blocked the FBI from examining its hacked servers, relying instead on a report from CrowdStrike—funded by Google and hired by Perkins Coie. These were coordinated moves in a larger operation to subvert an election and delegitimize a presidency.
And yet, after years of evidence, hearings, and investigations, what consequence has finally emerged? James Comey has been indicted on a minor charge—lying to Congress. That’s it. As if a single perjury charge could account for the cascading series of lies, abuses, and political sabotage that shaped modern American politics. This was not just the work of a single rogue FBI director. It was the result of a deliberate alliance between political elites, intelligence agencies, and media gatekeepers, all aligned to crush a populist president they despised. And the machinery they built then is still in motion today—fueling lawfare, weaponizing the justice system, and even contributing to assassination plots and political violence. The Comey indictment is not the end of a story; it’s proof that the story was real all along.
What began as a soft coup in 2016 has snowballed into a constitutional crisis, a two-tiered justice system, and a democracy weakened by corruption from within. The same people who screamed about “defending democracy” were actively dismantling it. And the same institutions that once served the people now serve themselves.
