On March 22, President Trump revoked security clearances of several top Democratic Party leaders and operatives. The mainstream news media reported the story by characterizing Trump as acting against his “political opponents,” “critics,” “trembling with rage” against his political opponents. BBC said that Trump did this without having any evidence for claims of such things like election “meddling.” CNN said that it was just the latest move of Trump’s “grudge” against political opponents and his “crackdown” on top law firms. All this reporting was singing from the songbook of Trump being a vindictive dictator. But Trump’s own words give discerning people the real reasons for his security clearance revocations.
Trump stated, “I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information: Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and any other member of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s family. Therefore, I hereby direct every executive department and agency head to take all additional action as necessary and consistent with existing law to revoke any active security clearances held by the aforementioned individuals and to immediately rescind their access to classified information.”
It is no longer in the national interest. That is the reason. While these people impeached Trump when he was previously president, they conducted lawfare against him with frivolous and false charges, they falsified documents against him, spied on him, and most likely fixed the 2020 election against him, this is not the stated reason for revoking their security clearances. They are all threats to the national interest, to the national security of the United States. These people are the leaders, purveyors, conductors, and protectors of the graft, corruption and outright theft of the American people that is being exposed by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Their tentacles reach far and wide and they have actively and purposely pilfered the nation for their own enrichment and power.
How can they be trusted with any classified information? Their operatives inside the government tried to overthrow a duly elected president (FBI, CIA). They also tried to prevent Trump’s new policies from being carried out within the agencies of the present government. Their network of judges are stopping Trump’s executive actions to stall and cover up the exposures by DOGE. Some of them never should have had access to national security documents and information. But the news media still presses forward that Trump is the enemy. Yes, Trump is an enemy to corruption and tyranny. Ephesians 5:11 says, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” And that’s why the media and Democrats are characterizing Trump as vindictive—because he is exposing their dark deeds.
