Stupidocrisy: Policy death by lawfare

The Democrats have successfully used an illegal alien to divide America, and implement a strategy to make it impossible to deport millions of illegal aliens. Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old Salvadoran national, was deported in March due to an administrative error. In the aftermath, the Trump administration is standing firm on claims that Garcia was not only in America illegally, but also was affiliated with the terrorist-designated MS-13 gang, human trafficking, and domestic violence. Democrats counter that Garcia, a model noncitizen, lacked due process. Trump says a court date for every illegal the Democrats allowed free entry to the US would make it impossible to do what he was elected to do.

Trump’s prediction is bearing out. The courts have barred the Trump Administration from deporting any more such illegals until due process has been demonstrated. These were the same judges who have been working together with the Democratic Party to thwart the border security and illegal immigration policies of the Trump administration. There also has been a media outcry, stirring up every leftist and communist organization to support Garcia in the name of justice. The facts of the case have become muddied by the shrillness of the media and others. To discern, consider the base reason that Garcia was deported. He was in the country illegally. This isn’t a matter of personal hardship or misunderstood intentions.

Garcia was in this country without authorization, and that is the root of the issue that cannot be overlooked. But it is being overlooked because of the media smokescreen that has been generated. It would appear that the Democrats have some sort of polling data that suggests that Americans don’t want illegals deported without a certain due process, and they are willing to politically die on that hill. As far back as in Exodus 12:49, the LORD established “One law shall be for the native-born and for the stranger who dwells among you.” And it is similar in America. Those in the country illegally have broken the law upon entry. But they are entitled to due process under the law. According to the law, if an illegal alien or noncitizen has been convicted of a crime (which means there was a day in court), that person can be deported.

There is also a legal system in place called “expedited removal” that allows for aliens to be removed if they are apprehended within 100 air miles of the border and have been in the US for 14 days to two years. Even in these cases there is due process. The Garcia case has led the courts, including the Supreme Court, to halt all deportations of this type until due process can be verified. George W Bush deported 2 million illegals with zero court halted deportations; Obama deported 3 million with 1 court halted case; Biden deported 500,000 with 2 court halted cases; Trump has had 4 sweeping court-halted cases on nearly 38,000 deportations this term, more than Clinton, George W Bush, Obama, and Biden combined on approximately 6.2 million deportations. The lawfare here is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.
