President Trump’s first half-month in office has been a lion’s roar against big government, statism, the deep state, illegal immigration and lawfare in the justice system. There is, however, one area in which he would be wise to pump the brakes—Stargate. He has announced a $500 BILLION project to harness artificial intelligence and embed this technology into the infrastructure of America. Tech giants Oracle, Open AI, Microsoft, and Softbank are named as initial technology partners that will build and expand artificial intelligence data centers beginning in Abilene, Tx. The venture is expected to create more than 100,000 jobs. The government is fast tracking the project through executive orders.
We need look no further than 2020 to see what happens when fast tracking technology that can do more harm than good. The mRNA serum that was developed in Operation Warpspeed did not prevent the spread of COVID 19, nor cure the virus, and it proved to be neither safe nor effective. What it did prove to be was a trojan horse of toxins injected into people’s bodies that have caused a myriad of health problems with those who were coerced into taking the shot. It was a clear example of why these technology companies cannot be trusted. Trump’s press conference announcing Stargate was eerily similar to the one announcing development of the COVID “vaccine,” flanked by experts in the industry that were soon to betray him.
Oracle CEO Larry Ellison pointed out at the press conference “One of the most exciting things we’re working on … is our cancer vaccine. You can do early cancer detection … with a blood test, and using AI to look at the blood test, you can find the cancers that are actually seriously threatening the person…You can make that vaccine, that mRNA vaccine, you can make that robotically, again using AI, in about 48 hours. So imagine early cancer detection, the development of a cancer vaccine for your particular cancer, aimed at you, and have that vaccine available in 48 hours.” Using AI in curing or preventing cancer is a great and admirable goal. All fine and dandy until AI is injected in everyone’s body with consequences unknown except to the developers.
This is just one of the red flag issues with AI. The energy consumption. We often are skeptical of what we do not know. AI needs to be explained more to Americans and why it is critical to our national security. We need to know how it can manipulate, spy on, invade personal privacy, create bias and inequality, increase crime, create political instability and the list grows longer and longer just thinking about it. Hosea 4:6 says that because people have forgotten the law of God, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” This is so true when it comes to AI. We all need to know what this new technology god brings to our lives. It needs to be closely scrutinized and highly regulated. Trump should know this and not trust these tech giants to do the right thing. Sorry, not sorry. Warpspeeding Stargate is, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.
