Stupidocrisy: Saying something is something it isn’t

The Bible suggests that the mature constantly train their senses to discern good from evil (Hebrews 5:14). This is so very important. Society is constantly bombarded with conflicting claims. One example: There is no end to the government-sponsored commercials urging COVID booster shots. But there are now hundreds of studies proving that these shots are detrimental to your health and do not outweigh the risk of COVID. In fact, the government still says the COVID serums are both safe and effective. It was known very early on in the COVID pandemic that the shots did not prevent COVID and there were many terrible side effects. But the propaganda still is claiming what it claims. But wait. There’s more.

On December 28, Secretary of State Antony Blinken posted a photo essay about his travels around the world in 2023, titled “Portraits of Diplomacy: 2023 A Photographic Journey with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken.” Taking a victory lap for his perceived success as America’s chief ambassador, he introduced the essay on X (formerly Twitter) saying: “As I reflect on the miles traveled, countries visited, and intense diplomacy over the past year, I am proud of our work to build stronger partnerships and strengthen global peace and security.” But the problem here is that since Blinken and Biden took over there has been major wars in Ukraine and Israel, and Islamic nations are taking pot shots at the American military throughout the Middle East. North Korea is also rattling its sabers. He’s claiming credit for peace when there is no peace.

Moreover, is the use of the word “security.” On December 29, Joe Biden declared January National Human Trafficking Prevention Month saying “we reaffirm our commitment to ending these predatory crimes at home and across the globe.” Of course, he wove into his announcement all the political touchpoints he has done to stop human trafficking, including worker’s rights, housing vouchers, the LGBTQI+ community support, and so on. But he sure didn’t mention that his border security and immigration policies are likely the biggest contributor to human trafficking in recent history. In fact, he has claimed the US-Mexican border is secure, but reality is the border is setting records for illegal crossings at some 225,000 in December, with unaccompanied minors in custody up 6.5%, at 11,700. The fact is that the border is not secure.

As we enter 2024, there are a lot of things to discern. The Democratic Party, for example, is always pandering about voter rights and voter integrity. But its leadership is trying to prevent former President Donald Trump from being on the ballot in every state. Isn’t this both a violation of voter rights and voter integrity? Biden says the economy is the best it’s ever been, yet inflation and the cost of living have been setting records. Here is a rule of thumb: If the government and its socialist propagandists say something is one thing, you can pretty much believe that it is the opposite. 2 Timothy 3:13 says, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” Train your senses to discern those saying something is something it isn’t, lest you become part of the, say it with me…Stupidocrisy.
