Some questions concerning our children

The Nashville Christian school shooting by a transgender woman identifying as a man has politicians once again calling for more gun control. They refuse to consider the responsibility and character of the person pulling the trigger. The LGBTQ+ community argues vehemently that intolerance and lack of public acceptance causes children questioning their sexuality to attempt and commit suicide at alarming rates. An alternative question: What if LGBTQ+ extremists in schools cause such tremendous unnatural conflict deep in the soul and conscience of young children that it results in depression and suicidal thoughts? Is it time to ban this sexual grooming and predation on minor children in public schools?

Suicide among LGBTQ+ young people is so prominent that the community had to start the Trevor Project in hopes of preventing these young people from wanting to kill themselves. LGBTQ+ youth with suicidal thoughts are estimated at over 40% and those attempting it are 25%. How long is it before they want to kill others? Did that day come in Nashville—shortly after there was a call for “a trans day of vengeance”? Is the anger projection so deep, that it is becoming an organized effort, especially aimed at those with a Biblical worldview? Does it mean that those of us who have an alternative opinion should be killed? Several are publicly saying that. It can be called “gender affirming care” or “sexual identity” or “pride,” but is it the wolf seeking to devour both innocent children and those given over to their own delusion?

Romans 1 contends that God’s righteousness is revealed from faith to faith and His wrath is revealed against the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men because God has shown it to them. Verse 20 says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” These exchanged the truth of God that they know deep inside for the lie. Verses 26-27 conclude: “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.”

What if their anger really isn’t about acceptance and tolerance? What if the anger comes from the guilt and shame they feel spiritually deep in their souls? What if this anger causes suicidal thoughts and hate for those who disagree? People’s sexuality as adults is their own business. But this sexualization agenda is extremely destructive to children. Shouldn’t anything in schools that results in dividing, frustrating or undermining the God-ordained family unit be banned? Should LGBTQ+ evangelizing, grooming, preying on children be stopped? Should sexual education of children be allowed only with well-informed parental consent? Should these school kids be kids without influence of drag queens, lesbians, gays, homosexuals, transgenders, whatever, confusing them to the point of suicide? Is this hate or is it common sense?
